Privacy
This survey is anonymous. It is designed so that we can understand community priorities without collecting information that identifies you.
What we collect
- Your answers to the survey questions.
- The language you took the survey in (English or Spanish).
- A pseudonymous identifier used to detect repeat submissions. It is created by hashing your source IP address and browser user-agent together with a secret key (HMAC-SHA256). The raw IP address and user-agent are never stored, and the hash cannot be reversed without the secret key.
- The date and time each response was received.
What we do not collect
- Names, email addresses, or phone numbers.
- Accounts, logins, or passwords.
- Precise location.
- Advertising or third-party analytics identifiers.
How the data is used
Responses are used only to summarize community priorities about the dual language program. Results are reported in aggregate. Repeat submissions from the same device are flagged only when they happen within a short time window, so people sharing a public computer are not mistaken for duplicates.
Retention
Responses are kept only as long as needed for this analysis and are then deleted.
